Shari is a mother of 4 adult children and soon-to-be grandmother in August 2018. She has struggled with her weight her entire life and constantly researched the healthiest way to eat and lose weight. She has been on almost every diet ever invented. When her husband, Doug, had a heart attack, she wanted to find the best way to heal her husband and the search led her to a whole food plant based diet. She took the eCornell course in plant based nutrition in 2014 and has been on a quest since then to learn everything she could on the healthiest way to live. Shari has lost 43 pounds and ran her first half marathon in 2017. She finds great joy in helping others re-gain their health and reach their desired weight.
In 2008 at the age of 49 he had a heart attack in his LAD also called the widowmaker as only 10% survive. Since that time he found whole food plant based nutrition, lost 60 pounds and is off of all medications. He took up running and completed his first marathon at age 58. His goal is to help as many people as possible to regain the health that everyone deserves through 10 Day Jumpstart Your Health initiatives. We work with school district personnel, businesses and communities to improve public health.
